Making Face Frames – DIY Kitchen Cabinets Ep 3

DIY Home Remodeling, Project Videos, Woodworking

Hey everyone! I’m continuing my build series on making my own custom DIY kitchen cabinets. I’m doing high end cabinetry and encouraging everyone to try making their own. In the previous episode I discussed Making Plans from a SketchUp Model. In this episode I discuss making the face frame. This is pretty easy to do! I use pocket hole joinery and a Kreg jig after dimensioning the wood. I am using alder wood, milled down to ¾” thickness and then ripped on a table saw.

You can download my Kitchen Cabinet SketchUp File and modify it to build your own set of cabinets in this style.
