I was inspired by the lotus flower, and wanted to create a shape that would have lots of overlapping features.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first bowl is madrone wood with purple epoxy tips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I machined it out on my <a href=\"https:\/\/tormach.com\">Tormach<\/a> PCNC 1100 &#8212; although their 24R CNC router would be a better choice for a project like this.
