Bottom has a maple gel stain, top has pennsylvania cherry gel stain.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_9545.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_9545-tm.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"666\" alt=\"IMG_9545.JPG\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cutting all the face pieces to 1 5\/8&#8243;:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_9546.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_9546-tm.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMG_9546.JPG\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>1\/2&#8243; wide groove in the center of the 3\/4&#8243; piece of wood:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_9548.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_9548-tm.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMG_9548.JPG\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I then put a 45 on the inside, and a V groove with the router table 1\/2&#8243; from the outside:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_9551.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_9551-tm.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" alt=\"IMG_9551.JPG\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I tanned the boards outside for about ~5-10 minutes to get them a little brown before gluing up.
