I figured it would be easiest for me to learn by pictures. So, here they are. Click on any picture for a larger image on picasa. This is a simple inverted drop.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Climb the silk<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152106436053355538\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh3.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_1ga32zBI\/AAAAAAAABx4\/3aulqHD48qA\/s400\/IMG_7228.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Place your body in the middle of the silk<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152106586377210914\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh6.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_1pK32zCI\/AAAAAAAAByA\/ysSYuXefSkU\/s400\/IMG_7229.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Invert, keeping your legs on the outside of the silk (important!)<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152106758175902770\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh6.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_1zK32zDI\/AAAAAAAAByI\/zOlXdn3FczI\/s400\/IMG_7230.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>After inversion, twist both legs around the silk &#8211; rotate them towards the outside so the silk comes out the middle of your legs<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152106929974594626\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh6.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_19K32zEI\/AAAAAAAAByU\/HyOFcw1UHfU\/s400\/IMG_7231.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Keep the silk above your hips, and wrap it (once) around your back and bring it back to the front.<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152107054528646226\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh3.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_2Ea32zFI\/AAAAAAAAByc\/JBkXIDExkWM\/s400\/IMG_7232.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>The silk should be held at your belly with one hand firmly holding both silks, and the other slightly atop it<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152107170492763234\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh6.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_2LK32zGI\/AAAAAAAAByk\/bZFehb1ShjQ\/s400\/IMG_7233.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Flip your legs out forward. Be sure the silk is riding on your hips<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152107342291455090\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh6.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_2VK32zHI\/AAAAAAAABys\/5zRBWLhubAQ\/s400\/IMG_7234.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Hold yourself in place with one hand, and grab a portion of the silk with the other. Don&#8217;t grab too much &#8212; otherwise you will hit the floor, and grab a smaller portion when you are first learning (a foot or so).<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152107466845506690\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh3.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_2ca32zII\/AAAAAAAABy0\/PuBNGQ4jg8I\/s400\/IMG_7235.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Pull that portion of the silk towards your other hand that is holding the silk. Don&#8217;t let the loop of silk go around your arm or anything<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/SilkInstruction\/photo#5152107574219689106\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh4.google.com\/corbin.dunn\/R3_2iq32zJI\/AAAAAAAABy8\/ULInAqR0wb8\/s400\/IMG_7236.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>The last step set you up for the drop.
