I’ve always been fascinated with poetry. I generally write poetry for specific people. Here’s some of my older work; you can deduce who it was for by the year and month (if you know me well enough). this poem could be much better with some rework of a few parts.<\/i><\/p>\n
March 30, 2004<\/b><\/p>\n
if, but you may, realize how moonstruck i am.
\nahh, but an example.<\/p>\n
when i dauntlessly gaze upon you,
\nmy heart flutters from within,
\ntrying to escape, and take over my being.
\nall my senses begin to flee from me,
\nuntil, yes, my ears do work,
\nfor your melodic voice captures them with a whisper.
\nbut, i forget how it is to feel,
\nuntil a touch of your soft hand upon mine,
\nstarts a gentle spark of warmth,
\nrunning through my veins,
\nuntil it touches my heart,
\nand i realize i cannot smell,
\nbut, as you approach me closer i catch your aroma,
\ntill i want nothing more, than to taste your kiss,
\nat which, with no words from me,
\nyou promptly known and oblige,
