So, here it is!<\/p>\n<p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_6310.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_6310-tm.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"451\" alt=\"IMG_6310.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_6313.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_6313-tm.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" alt=\"IMG_6313.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The cube is made out of 1&#8243; tubing that is 1\/8&#8243; thick. I bought it at a local metal place &#8211; &#8220;Sims Metals&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I cut 45&#8217;s with my little Grizzly horizontal bandsaw:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_0630.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_0630-tm.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" alt=\"IMG_0630.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And drilled+tapped some holes into a piece of steel to create a jig to hold the tubes at 90 degrees:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_0632.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_0632-tm.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" alt=\"IMG_0632.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And then welded two separate squares together:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_0633.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.corbinstreehouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/IMG_0633-tm.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" alt=\"IMG_0633.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I then notched the four connecting pieces with a 1&#8243; end mill so they would fit &#8220;fairly well&#8221;. I then MIG welded all the corners together, holding it together with a ratcheting wrap to keep it square.
